Personality/Behaviors: Prince Scholar is very intelligent, having had to memorize entire volumes of literature and incredible facts about the various kingdoms in the Land of Ooo when he was a child. However, Prince Scholar had a pretty sheltered childhood, and never really learned how to deal with others outside the confines of his lessons. He gets very confused when trying to understand social situations, often not quite getting why a joke is so funny, or why everyone is looking at him funny when he talks about common bodily functions at dinner. Usually, he is very quiet around people to avoid being embarrassed, but he is very blunt when asked about something, having been taught to only state the facts. Because of this, he can come off as cold or snobby. Prince Scholar enjoys traveling and seeing new places. Ever since he left his home, he has been on a quest to visit the places he’s read about all over Ooo. He is very curious and will try anything once, as long as he thinks he can survive the experience.

Hometown and History: Prince Scholar hails from the kingdom of Libreria, a place where scholars, politicians, scientists and other intellectuals from all over Ooo gather, to learn, to teach and to make scientific breakthroughs. The kingdom is relatively peaceful, having few problems with other kingdoms or villains. Prince Scholar was the only child born to King Wisdom and Queen Knowledge, and they were very protective of him. To be the Wise King, Prince Scholar will be expected to know all about the Land of Ooo. This training began as a child, and he was always being tutored, or always had to study. Everything was made into a lesson, whether it was learning about the digestive system during dinner, or learning about the polarity of water when it was bath time. Whenever he could, he’d slip away into the old archives, and read about adventurers and the travels they took all across Ooo. He began looking for ways out of the palace, and when he turned seventeen, he decided to leave the kingdom all together. For the past few months, he has been traveling across Ooo, with the help of his Magic Map. The map won’t tell him how to get to places, but it will always tell him where he is. He found the map on the third level of the library in an old book about the fairy tales of Ooo.

Home base/ Home: Libreria is surrounded by a great wall, and the only way to enter the city is with proper documentation, or to answer an extremely difficult question. The city itself is bustling with people from all over the world. The Librerian palace, is a large an extensive library. The basement has a large laboratory, that is only open to researchers, and scientists. The first level of the place, however, is open to the public, with books from all over Ooo. The second level is only reserved for top scientists and researchers. This level has some more uncommon books. The third level, contains some of the rarest books from Ooo, and is only for invited guests and those of royal blood. The royal family lives on the fourth level. Since leaving the kingdom, the prince has taken up residence in a small cottage just outside of the Candy Kingdom. He rarely spends time at home, and only comes there to write down his own adventures or discoveries. The house is dusty due to not being lived in or cleaned very often.
